Document branding, credit notes and bulk printing Pro

Pro: put your identity on invoices, issue credit notes for refunds, attach documents to order emails and generate them in bulk.

Everything here extends the free document engine. Same numbering, same immutability, same snapshot — this adds what a merchant wants once the basics work.

Branding

Add a logo and set two colours under StoreMaster → Order documents. They apply to every document type.

Colours must be valid hex values; anything else is discarded rather than inserted. A colour box is the obvious place to try to smuggle styling into a document that gets printed and emailed, so only real colours get through.

Credit notes

A credit note records money given back. Turn on automatic issue and one is created whenever an order is refunded, listing each refund with its date, reason and amount.

A credit note is a new document, never an edit of the invoice. The invoice says what was charged; the credit note says what was returned. Editing the first to make the second unnecessary would destroy the record of what actually happened — and an issued document does not change, by design.

Attaching to emails

Choose which WooCommerce emails carry documents. A rendered copy is attached at send time and removed immediately afterwards — an invoice is somebody’s order, so it does not linger anywhere.

Bulk generation

Select orders and issue in bulk, up to 2000 at a time. The confirmation names the exact count before anything happens.

Generation runs in the background in batches, so closing the browser does not cancel it. An order that cannot be issued is recorded by id and does not stop the batch — and a health check surfaces the failures afterwards rather than leaving them in a log nobody reads.

What these documents do not claim

They are technical records. StoreMaster makes no claim that a document satisfies any jurisdiction’s invoicing rules. Configure the numbering, tax display and wording your accountant asks for, and take advice on what is required where you trade.
